about

Quentin Clausin
screenwriter - director - producer
Quentin Clausin directed his first feature film between the United States and Cambodia (2013), then disappeared for ten years into screenwriting.
In 2021, he founded OKINO FILMS, a production house dedicated to producing his own films, rooted between France and Cambodia.
His films share a single thread: the invisible wall between comfort and security on one side, freedom and alienation on the other. It is the ground on which all his stories are built. It is also what draws him – as a filmmaker who lives and works nomadically – to other cultures: not out of exoticism, but because each culture draws that line differently, and in that difference, something essential about the human condition and its contradictions becomes visible.

Visal Sok
associate producer - director
Visal participated in Quentin Clausin's first feature film "comfortably lost" and then co-directed his second feature film "gems on the run".
In 2018 he founded 802 FILMS in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and since then has written and directed "Poppy goes to Hollywood", co-directed "in the Life of music" and co-produced "kermalink".
Okino and 802 Films are currently co-producing feature films in Cambodia and France.
